Born in 1994, Ma Ke has studied piano performance at the Royal Academy of Music on a full scholarship with Professor Christopher Elton since 2011 and chamber music with Professor Michael Dussek and Andrew West. During this time, she has won several prizes, both external and internal, including the Harriet Cohen Bach Prize, the Harold Craxton Prize and the Maisie Lewis Young Artists Fund. She was also highly commended for the Sterndale Bennett Prize. In 2012 she received 3rd place at the Ettlingen International Piano Competition in Germany. In 2014, she won the China Shenzhen International Piano Concerto Competition in China and most recently Ke received the Prince’s Award from the Worshipful Musicians’Company.
