Brief Introduction of 2011 The 2nd China Shenzhen International Piano Concerto Competition
From 10.24 to 11.5,2011, Shenzhen will continuously hold the 2nd China Shenzhen International Piano Concerto Competition. Maintaining the purpose of the 1st, the 2nd CSIPCC sets a precious stage for gifted young pianists worldwide to play concertos with a professional symphony orchestra. It aims to promote international exchange and collaborations in this field, and discover promising young artists. It will serve as an essential event of transforming Shenzhen into a city of piano, and meanwhile enrich the cultural life of the city and the region. In the year of 2006, China Shenzhen has successfully held the 1st International Piano Concerto Competition.

Shenzhen Concert Hall
Shenzhen Concert Hall is one of the most important symbolic cultural architectures in Shenzhen. Located in the central area of Futian District, it has convenient transportation. It covers a surface area of 26,345 square meters and a construction area of 41,423 square meters. The architecture is designed by Arata Isozaki, a famous Japanese avant-grade architect, who enjoys a reputation in the international construction field. It is a modern and professional concert hall specifically designed and constructed for music performance.
